Yes, the Wild Carrot is an excellent option
Far i know yes
Yes we had a bridal shower there a few years ago. It was lovely
Yes the Wild Carrot does. You can get any of the sandwiches on gluten free bread. We make our gluten free bread in house. It's delicious! All sandwiches are made fresh!
No
Not a menu per se, but they are very accomodating to your needs. Many menu items either are gluten free, or can be made gluten free.
Loved the idea of a sandwich and soup. Very good. Now offers breakfast. HOURS ARE 8-4 THOUGH!!!! COME ON IN!!! They have great food and service.
Go to the Wild Carrot.Get the Philly Sandwich and Carrot Soup.Finish your meal with Carrot Cake.Amazing! One of the tastiest places for their soups, sandwiches and desserts. If you aren’t a fan of Carrot...eat any of the desserts with chocolate. You can’t go wrong!! Don’t leave without eating the Carrot Soup. It’s the best! Truly the best!! I would drive a million miles for the Carrot Soup. Yum!!Because this amazing place has a gift shop area to enjoy also-come to eat, converse and take your time! This is NOT a quick, hurry through, fast food type of place. It’s meant to be enjoyed and you can taste the effort put into the food you eat. It’s all homemade and scrumptious!
Very good food and nice seasonal gift items up front.
Homemade food fresh every day
Not open after 8 a.m. on this Monday, leaving residents and travelers without a good breakfast option on Mondays.
They really pressured us to leave early when we came with a group of ladies.
Amazing french toast
If you haven't tried this place for breakfast or lunch, be sure to! Fun and delicious and the staff is wonderful! Waverly is lucky to have this little treasure
Cute little shop along with a wonderful place to eat. The squash soup was AMAZING.
Great little spot for sandwiches, soups and dessert.
WONDERFUL FOOD, CUTE SHOP! Seriously the best cafe food in town. I have never tried something I didn't like, EVERYTHING IS DELICIOUS! A must try is always the Wild Carrot Soup! YUM! The shop is so cute, it is full of cute home decor, yummy coffee mixes, wine, and so much more. I would highly recommend the Wild Carrot!
I’m sure the food would have been good if we had ever been waited on. Told to pick our table we waited and waited for menus. Staff walked by but ever acknowledged us. After others came and received service we left. Maybe you have to be a local. We drove in off highway.
Great food, nice ambiance... Little pricy and limited menu.
Excellent food...friendly service...wonderful atmosphere!
Interesting place with tempting products. Tasty unique homemade food. Decent pricing. I'd go back.
Had a nice piece bnb of pie for my birthday treat
Good but can be very busy call ahead
Small place with awesome food.
Crazy, wicked fresh food in Waverly!! I’ve lived here 3 years and have made the mistake of not coming sooner (I have little kids, work a lot, etc. in fairness). My salad was so refreshing with strawberries, great chicken, candies pecans... And then the carrot soup! ❤️ Service was fast, great. And I enjoy shopping while I wait and after. Amazing gem in the heart of Waverly!
Beat creamed carrot soup ever!
Great food, nice atmosphere, good service.
Very cozy and great food
Cute place but my food was not very good
Excellent lunch!
the atmosphere is super cozy and the service was incredible! our server, long brown wavy hair and cute pink circular glasses, was so sweet. it was very obvious she enjoyed working there very much. the Zuppa soup is some of the best soup I've ever had. we will be returning in the near future!
Fantastic lunch! Great shop with lots of neat items!
The Wild Carrot has great soup and desserts with a very pleasant atmosphere to complement the meal.
Closed. Someone forgot to turn opened sign the night before. Disappointed
Love this quaint little tea room. Great food. Wonderful coffee and dessert
The food was great and the carrot cake was excellent. I would definitely recommend going.
Great place to eat. Wonderful desserts!!! Great kitchen type items, dips, bread mixes etc to but. Keep up the great work!!!
Not quite as good this time. I missed the lady the works there. She has blonde hair, I should know her, but I cant think of her name.. ... the food was great, I just missed Rebecca
I fell in love with this gift shop!! Great displays, lots of seasonal and kitchen, dining room, ANY room items. It’s a winner!!
Very sweet cafe. Good food and can shop also. Truffles are very good.
Very good food and waitress were great !! We had a group of 10 ladies. Cheryl Smeins
Great place to eat! Love the Rueben's and all of the soups!! Great staff as well!!
This is a MUST stop in Waverly, IA. The food was AMAZING, service was incredible, and the owners are very appreciative of your business! We ordered the omelet and french toast, and neither one of us could finish our meals (that's how big their portions are!). Will definitely be stopping by again next time we are in town!
Surprisingly nice restaurant in the back of a store on main Street. Excellent food
Great people and food is great!!!
The Philly cheese steak is soooooo yummy!
Charming restaurant serving unique homemade soups and sandwiches. Excellent desserts.
Always great food, welcoming friendly atmosphere, and wonderful unique gift selections!!!
Great homemade food, nice atmosphere! Loved my experience.
This is my cousin's restaurant. She ROCKS the food in the kitchen. How she does it all is absolutely incredible. Thank you Toni for another GREAT meal ❤❤
The best atmosphere with good food
Great food and cool gifts and stuff
Always have great food and friendly service here. They even offer GF bread! Love the store and restaurant combined!
Stopped here Saturday with a daughter. Wonderful food and lovely experience! Gift items are in season and more! Bravo Wild Carrot! 🤗
Quiche and the signature carrot soup are our favorites. It's fun to peruse the gift shop items & chocolates.
The food here is amazing. Hearty, simple and healthy all in a historical building with the old jewelry cases and hardwood floors worn down soft but nevertheless beautifully maintained. My quiche was the best I've ever had. Not too eggy or too cheesy. Lots of hearty veggies loaded in with just the right amount of egg and cheese to hold it together. My husbands omelet was amazing. Too much for him to tackle but very tasty and filled with midwestern goodness. (Meat, cheese, and some veggies)Loved this place!
